Advance of the Reich: Breakout at Lozovenka Video Replay

You are surrounded and need to break through to your lines. You have a good number of infantry units supported by a few mortars and tanks. Can you break through? YouTube poster MJL uses a “learn as you go” approach to get the Russians home in the “Attempted Breakout at Lozovenka” scenario. This 17 part video of MJL’s unsuccessful operation illustrates many of the features found in the Squad Battles series from HPS Simulations including the importance of planning, the effect of terrain for cover and advancement, the strength of combined arms, the need for leader placement to rally troops and the will to advance over seeking cover.
