Royalists & Roundheads ERRATA by John Leggat The following are changes and clarifications for Royalists & Roundheads (3W) which I received front its designer, Rob Markham. These errata will also be included in Royalists & Roundheads II, planned for publication later this year. Rules [5.5] Change to read: Routed combat units follow no commands, instead they may be moved up to half their movement allowance (rounded down) during the Movement Phase. They must end their move further away from the nearest enemy unit. [6.16] Add at the end: Units advancing after combat may change facing. [6.17] Add: Units retreating because of rout may change their facing at the end of their retreat. [6.21] Change to read: ... Exception: Routed units have no zone of control. [6.25] Change to read: A combat unit that begins a Movement Phase in any enemy ZOC may move out of that ZOC if it has a Retreat, Stand, Muster, or Reserve Command. Routed units may also leave an enemy ZOC. [7.11] Change to read: Stacked combat units are treated as one combat unit for Melee Combat, but may fire separately during Fire Combat. [9.5] Add: 5. It cannot enter any occupied hex, unless the unit is a skirmish unit and the hex is occupied by a friendly combat unit. [10.2] Change: From "Recovery" to "Rally" Terrain Effects Chart (Addition) Movement costs Defensive modifiers Terrain INF CAV LEADERS ART SKIR FIRE MELEE type Marsh NA NA 2 NA 2 - -1 Cornfields 2 2 2 NA 1 -1 -1 NA=Not allowed Range Table (Change) Distance BOW MUSKET INFANTRY CAVALRY ARTILLERY in hexes 1 +1 +1 - - +2 2 +1 - X X +1 3-4 - X X X +1 5-8 - X X X - 9-10 +1 X X X - Range table results - = May fire, no die roll modifier +1,+2 = May fire, add the number as a die roll modifier X =May not fire, out of range SCENARIO ERRATA KILSYTH: [15.2] Add Covenanters Commands: Balcarres Advance Leslic Reserve Home Advance NASEBY.
