It is the first web-based magazine containing a game (or games) based around historical or science-fictional topics suitable for wargames. You cannot get a printed version of The Web Wargamer: it will be exclusively web-based. Please look over our current issue. Hopefully it will give you an idea of what we are about.
To a large extent this depends on what games we get submitted to us. We have no policy favouring any one sort of subject/scale/form or whatever for our games. But we do want to publish good games!
Anything that can be printed or downloaded from a web browser can be a game. See the Battle for Moscow page or the Bonegames site for examples of board and card games delivered via the web.
It will depend on the designers/developers of our games. Games can be freeware, shareware or commercial. A shareware game will ask you to pay a registration fee after downloading it. A commercial game will only be available after paying a fee.
