Gamer's tip A tip for home designers When one is home-designing a simulation game using SPl's G.D. equipment, one does not want to waste expensive blank hexsheets on prototypes and rough copies. To draw a hexsheet is extremely difficult as with a hexagon template the slightest mis-alignment escalates. I have found a method which has the same movement properties as a hexsheet, using squares, and every square is surrounded by 6 others and there is a direction of grain just like a hexsheet. The final version can be transferred to a hexsheet without alteration. It is only different in that for a prototype it is much cheaper than is wasting a blank hexsheet. J. McKeown.
